Instagram Reels is a new mode in the Instagram menu. In a few words, Reels can be described as Tik Tok on Instagram. It consists of creating and uploading a video with multiple creative features, such as music, slow motion and filters. Yes, not far from Tik Tok.

This is one of the most important and asked questions. Does my business need to jump right into every new social media app or feature? Well, no… and yes.



Tik Tok is associated more with leisure than Instagram, while the latter is considered an important tool for brands and all kinds of companies, most of which have never even downloaded Tik Tok and do not know how it works.

The Facebook Group had spoken about coming up with a competition to Tik Tok to prevent their users from fleeing from their platform. However, this speech from president Trump sped up the process and got Reels out in the world sooner than expected.


WHERE is Reels?


Reels can be found with the latest version of Instagram. It is available for both Android and IOS systems. Inside of the platform, Reels is an icon displayed in the camera menu of the Instagram Stories, and in the latest Instagram versions, it has also earned its place in the bottom menu, next to the Home icon.


Once the video is uploaded, it will appear to all users in your profile, both in its own section (Like IGTVs), as well as in the feed with the rest of the content.
